A clothes drying rack for underneath a floating shelf.
A clothes drying rack for underneath a floating shelf. Perfect for small rooms or dorms. Mine rack is directly above my heater for optimal drying. This design fits shelves 10cm or less in thickness.
Print two plates for the clamps on either side. I used PLA but PETG should work better for the added stretch and stiffness.
You will need some non-stretchy rope such as paracord or a clothesline. You will need about 5.5 x (Length of Shelf). Secure it at one end, thread it through the holes, then secure at the other end.
This is v1.0 and my first 3D print. I am currently working on a v2.0 that is stronger, more secure, has better spacing and sits flush to the shelf.
