SMARS, which stands for “Screwless/Screwed Modular Assemblable Robotic System,” is a straightforward robot designed specifically for educational purposes. Its key features include a minimal number of components, the ability to assemble without screws or soldering, and the absence of glue or similar adhesives. Plus, it’s incredibly cost-effective to build!
One of SMARS’s standout aspects is its modular design. You can easily attach various sensors and tools and even create your own custom parts. In the future, I plan to add new modules and downloadable content (DLC) to enhance the model on my Cults 3D page. It would be fantastic if you could share your modifications as well!
